It was my first Wine Tasting Event and I absolutely loved it. It was very well organised and a great work event (everyone interacted really well in their teams). The Wine expert, Martin, had a huge amount of experience in the industry and was very open to questions and was able to answer them all. Considering he was on his own, he did very well and managed to keep control of everyone without people feeling regimented. Overall it was a great night. We all left that night knowing a fair bit about Wine (me being one of them) and feeling very merry!

We asked Martin to organise a wine tasting challenge for a hen & rooster party - a tall order given it included a mixture of males and females of varying ages and with varied wine tastes and knowledge. Martin was brilliant - he pitched the event at just the right level and was prepared to talk to everyone and answer a variety of questions. The challenge format was ideal for the occasion and got everyone involved - even the non-drinkers. His knowledge was excellent and variety of wines chosen meant that we all went away with a selection of new wines to try. But best of all, he made me look really good for organising it!

I am used to running good events but this was exceptional. 75 guests enjoying six wines expertly selected from England and the USA to accompany a tasting menu - with Martin blending knowledge and humour to introduce each wine and leave us knowing more than we did when we arrived. If you think that wine might add a little something to your event then I recommend Winelines without hesitation; you are in for a treat.

I had to organise a hen night for a group of 18 ladies ranging from mid 20's to mid 60's and am so thrilled I called winelines. Martin made it easy to arrange the event, and then was a joy as a host too. It was very informal and everyone loved it and learned a little more about the wine we had been drinking for years. I would not hesitate to call winelines again if I were to be planning another function..

Martin made my husband Simon’s birthday treat a real success. To complement our dinner he provided us with a competition of wine tasting. His descriptions of what we should be looking at/smelling and tasting were great and he offered lots of information about all the wines and others too. It was a fun evening with some great wines (I also learnt how much different wines change their taste with different foods).
